Thordis is from my beloved Invita's second litter. Again, the saying "always expect the unexpected" prove to be true.

I chose Liam as the Sire for Invita's litter because he stems from a show line so I hoped his show genes would give us beautiful but calm and easy going puppies.

As always, Invita went into labour easily and after 2 hours 56 minutes had given birth to 7 absolutely beautiful little pups without any complications. She did everything she had dutifully and with great focus. For me, all went well until Invita gave birth to the 6th puppy - when I instantly and hopelessly fell in love with this little ball of fur. I wanted her from that moment on. She just HAD to stay with us !!! Even though she didn't look like any other dog I would have chosen normally. Thordis's fur was light but she had absolute perfect markings. Now I had to convice my husband that she just had to stay. I blocked all requests for her and told everyone she already had a reservation. 4 weeks later Joachim agreed she could stay, providing the eye exam would be ok, and it was!

So Thordis stayed with us and exceeded all expectations. She's like her mother Invita, just a little bit more lively. She has a great will to please and does everything just to be with me. I can take her everywhere and she's getting along with just everyone - and she has Invita's "grin".

By now, Joachim also loves her dearly and calls her "our sheep" because of her light fur. But she's nothing like a sheep! She's a lively dog and every single day I'm so happy to have her around. She loves to learn and works eagerly, it's a pleasure to work with her and see how she develops.

To me, Thordis is an example of pure lust for life.
