About Lone
Lone comes from the first litter of my girl Hedda. And once again, life has shown me that the best things often happen when you least expect them!
For this litter, I had chosen Wils as the sire. His temperament was simply a wonderful match for our little whirlwind Hedda. His previous offspring had already shown that he passes on a wonderfully calm and relaxed nature. Lone has turned out to be the perfect combination of Wils and Hedda.
When it came to giving birth, Hedda was just as quick as her mother Thordis and her grandmother Invita. She delivered all her puppies within just three hours. Lone was the third puppy to be born.
There was also a rather memorable surprise during the birth: little Ludwig was born right on my pillow! Hedda certainly knows how to keep me on my toes.
Just four weeks before the puppies were born, my beloved heart dog Invita had suddenly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I was still deeply shaken by her loss.
Once again, I hadn't actually planned to keep a puppy from this litter.
But then Lone was born. A red bi girl, just like my beloved Invita. And at that moment, I knew: this little girl was staying!
Her eye examination came back clear, and so Lone became part of our family. I had already had her name in mind for a long time, and it suits her perfectly.
Keeping her turned out to be absolutely the right decision.
Lone has inherited Wils' calm temperament and Hedda's strong will to please. Together, these qualities make a wonderful combination.
She is an incredibly attentive and easy-to-handle girl, with endless charm. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and people alike.
Lone loves to please and is happy to do just about anything as long as she can be by my side. I can take her anywhere, and nothing seems to faze her. She even has a little smile sometimes!
She has a beautiful long tail that she wags enthusiastically whenever we are out and about together.
Once again, life has shown me that the things we never planned for can sometimes turn out to be our greatest treasures.
